Where do they do their long course training?
We used to train at John Dupont’s estate in the 1980s and early 1990s. He had an indoor 50 meter pool on his property.
Shoulberg uses Germantown Academy’s 25 yard pool most of the year. They tend to take a winter trip and go to Colorado Springs to get other 50 meter training in. In the summer, there is a 33 1/3 yard pool (Mermaid pool), a 50 meter outdoor pool, and then Germantown Academy 6 lane 25 yard pool.
GA has been doing a campaign to raise money as it redoes its buildings. In the process, GA’s plan is a 50 meter pool on its property in the next few years.
