Arena, Western Zone Announce Senior Zones Partnership

Arena, a leader in the field of competitive swimwear, is proud to announce the re-titling of the popular Senior Western Zone meet as the Arena Senior Western Zone Championships through 2016. The new name marks a new, exclusive partnership between the swimwear leader, USA Swimming’s Western Zone and Clovis Swim Club.

Among the most popular meet for accomplished teenage swimmers, the Arena Western Senior Zones are expected to draw over 1,200 swimmers from across the western region. It will be held at Clovis North and Clovis West.

The multi-dimensional partnership provides support to both the Zone and host club, as well as Arena’s support of the Western Zone’s Diversity Camp program.

“At Arena we continue to provide our support to grassroots swimming, and to put our backing behind the future stars of the sport,” said Tim McCool, Vice President and General Manager of Arena North America. “The opportunity to partner with our sponsored club as well as one of USA Swimming’s strongest local governing bodies represented the perfect opportunity to do just that, while providing our brand with exposure at an exciting and competitive event.”

“Arena has been an incredible partner to Clovis Swim Club as we’ve grown over the years, so we knew that we could count on their support for this meet,” said John McGough, Head Coach of Clovis Swim Club. “We look forward to Arena’s involvement as we elevate and grow this important competitive opportunity for the up-and-coming swimmers in the Western Zone.”

“The Western Zone continues to see great success in hosting this competitive meet and in developing top athletes in our sport,” said Ben Britten, Western Zone Coach Director. “To bring on an elite swimwear partner like Arena only stands to further grow our event and we are thrilled with this new partnership.”

The Arena Western Senior Zones will take place July 29-August 2, 2015. Full meet information is available here.
