2014 Men’s NCAA Championships: Mike Bottom Day 2 Video Interview

Michigan head coach Mike Bottom discusses his team this year compared to last years national championship team. With 13 guys invited to the meet, the team focus is all about swimming for the team this weekend. They had two finalists in the 400 IM with Whitaker and Bosch, which gained momentum for the team leading into the 200 freestyle.

He also talked about how there is no such thing as replacing their seniors. Every year it is important to build a new team with the guys you have.

Several wolverines will be in the water tomorrow. Bosch and Whitaker are expected to swim well in the 200 butterfly and Jaeger is a favorite to win the 1650 freestyle.
